Project Description
What is Almond Eye Surgery?
Almond eye surgery is a cosmetic procedure designed to make the eyes appear larger and deeper. It is especially preferred by individuals with a low eye structure. This surgery provides a permanent solution for achieving the desired almond-shaped eyes that are usually achieved with makeup.
What Anesthesia is Used for Almond Eye Surgery?
Almond eye surgery is performed under local anesthesia.
What is the Recovery Process Like?
The recovery process can vary from person to person. Patients can usually be discharged on the same day as the surgery. Full recovery typically takes about 10 days. It is recommended to return to work 2 days after the operation, although this may vary depending on the individual’s condition.
How Long Does Almond Eye Surgery Take?
Almond eye surgery, performed under local anesthesia, typically takes between 35 and 60 minutes.
Will There Be Scarring After Almond Eye Surgery?
Almond eye surgery is usually performed with 6-7 mm incisions either in the upper eyelid fold or just below the eyelashes of the lower eyelid. Due to the small size of these incisions and the rapid healing of the eyelid, scarring is generally not visible.
Post-Operative Care Instructions
Patients should follow the doctor’s advice closely. No bandage is used after almond eye surgery. It is forbidden to drive for a few days and smoking should be limited as it can cause redness. Bathing and washing the face can be resumed starting from the 2nd day.
